Google in Flux for Weeks is an understatement! Here is a quote from Matt Cutts Blog:
"Finally, GoogleGuy posted yesterday or so that a new binary is also
wending it’s way from data centers like 66.102.7.x. And I wouldn’t be
surprised if a second stage of the index rolls out around this time
next week. I also wouldn’t be surprised if a third stage of the index
rolls out the week after that. I just wanted to let people know that
there’s still flux to come."
The SEO forums have been full of speculation and the best
advice I can give (and heard) is to just wait it out before going to
kill-thyself mode! Things will calm down in a few weeks and then
rationale analysis and discussion can occur.
So take a vacation from checking Google SERPs and work on your web site instead!
