I now have all my major clients keywords and my keywords for yahoo
ranking top FIVE. Some for search terms that are search for
10,000+ times a month, so decent traffic. To do well you really
need lots of one way links
now for Yahoo. Yahoo was all about on page optimization, but not
anymore. At least if their current algorithm sticks. So
keep a good website with good sound principles and get lots of links
pointing to your site.

I don't know if you are aware of Yahoo Search Engine Blog or MSN Search Engine blog
but there you are. I like to check in on them once a week or so
and also if I notice any major changes for the keywords I track.
I don't know of a specific Google SE blog, but their Google Blog is ok, but not that great. So there you go. All I have today!

I am playing around with two keyword difficulty tools,
trying to find some I am happy with. What is odd is the two I am using
often contradict each other. I hope to try some more
experiment/analysis on these using keywords I can talk about in my
blog. So stay tuned. Right now I am using client and my own keywords
and I would rather not reveal, but here is a quick snapshot/review of
them. Very quick...time is short before dinner (and I am starving).
- Search Guild's Keyword Difficulty Tool
- This tool is fast and seems to give pretty good results as far as I
can tell. Again, there have been contradictions with the other
tool on SOME keywords, but overall they both rank them similar. I
plan to dive into this more.
- SEOMoz's Keyword Difficulty Tool
- I really like this tool as it seems to do a heavy analysis of the top
10 sites in yahoo/google. It also looks at backlinks, pagerank,
keyword costs in overture, searches per month per keyword and
more.
So who wins the keyword difficulty test? More to come on that soon...off to eat!

So I am monitoring some of my client sites and WHAM, they all sky
rocket to #1. I was quite shocked and searched for and found an answer
on the yahoo weather report.
Yahoo can drive a ton of traffic to ones site so I was very happy for
my clients new found traffic. How is your Yahoo results coming?

As part of my normal coffee (read -> wakeup slowly time) routine I
tend to read some SEO and Webmaster related forums. I found a great sitemap generation tool
while doing that this morning. Users in the forum I read report
that they have done 250,000 page websites with no problem using this
tool. So try it out and drop me a line with your experiences with
it!
